Following the success of Baskit Wear’s “Up Close & Personal” Q&A with modeling contest winners Tim Baird and Billy Dortch, comes Kody Corduan, the very sexy and tough guy with a killer face and body. This guy is more than just looks though – he’s got a thing for motorcycles and is making his own mark in the competitive world of Hollywood.

Here’s what Kody had to tell us when we peaked into his life and his love of Baskit…

BASKIT: What is your age and where you are from?

KODY: I’m 25 years old and I am from just outside Kody, South Carolina. I moved to California about five years ago.

BASKIT: What do you do for a living (aside from modeling)? What did you want to be when you were a kid?

KODY: Besides the occasional model gig, I’m also an actor. I shot two movies last year, still in post-production. “Messina High” which is a modern interpretation of Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing. The other film is called “Brothers Sinclair” In addition to the movies, I’ve been in shows such as Dexter, 90210 and Eleventh Hour. My first big role was as Joey Travolta in film called “Accidents.”

BASKIT: You have some body art - can you give us a description of it and what it means to you?

KODY: Sure, when I was 18 I got a dragon on a grim reaper's sickle on my left arm. I also have one on the inside of my right arm - a tattoo my father and I got, and on my left tricep I got a family tattoo with my stepbrother. They all have very personal meaning to me.

BASKIT: What's the best way to spend a day off? Extra hours at the gym? On the beach? Hiking?

KODY: Riding my motorcycle. I do enjoy hiking and surfing as well, but nothing compares to riding the asphalt at 100 mph.

BASKIT: Were you familiar with Baskit before the modeling opportunity?

KODY: I was not, but now that I am wearing them, I got to say that I love the fit. And the colors are great for me. BASKIT: Is there something thing you aren't doing that you wish you were? A sport/skill you were never good at or just haven’t gotten around to learning yet?

KODY: Nah, I'm very happy with my life and where I am. I’m grateful to have what I have and be who I am.

BASKIT: What is the best advice anyone has ever given you?

KODY: Figure out for yourself what is true, don't blindly follow the world.

BASKIT: On a random Saturday, what are you likely to be wearing?

KODY: Ha, um.. Jeans and a tee with underwear!

BASKIT: If you had a week on a beach and could only take three things with you what would they be (aside from clothes and money)?

KODY: Books, surfboard and a pillow.

BASKIT: Any other interest tidbits or pieces of information you'd want to share with the readers? Something nobody knows about you?

KODY: I'm a part of the Sons of God motorcycle club. Check it out!

There are a few simple rules: Any guy over eighteen who thinks he’s got what is takes can enter by submitting a photo (must be shirtless, no nudity). Submissions are due by 5pm EST Friday, October 14th. The top ten images will be posted on Facebook on Monday, October 17th at 12pm when voting will start. The photo with most likes and comments by Friday, October 21st at 5pm EST will win.

On October 24th at 12pm EST fans will have the chance to one again vote for their favorite model from the top three finalists. The winner with the most vote (likes and comments) will have the opportunity to participate in a professional Baskit-facilitated photo shoot.

The Fine Print

Please read carefully:

Top ten images from submissions will be chosen by Baskit.

Each of three finalists (determined by Facebook audience) will be awarded $100 good toward any purchase at the Baskit Wear online store (www.baskitwear.com). Final winner of a year’s worth of underwear will receive five (5) pairs of Baskit underwear every month for twelve (12) months.

After three finalists are determined, the Facebook audience will again vote for who they want to be the winner of the entire contest. Photo with most “likes” and comments will be considered winner.

Photoshopping images will not be tolerated and disqualification from the contest is at the discretion of Baskit Wear.

The final winner of the Baskit Wear Model Search will have the opportunity to act as a model for the brand through an arranged photo shoot. September 14, 2011 Following an up close and personal interview with connexion.org modeling contest winner Tim Baird, comes the second finalist Billy Dortch, a free-spirited Sacramento native with the looks of a bad boy, but a heart of gold and a voice to match.

Over 200 members of social networking site connexion.org submitted pictures for consideration and selected the two winners through a series of eight rounds of voting. Over 30,000 votes were casted in an eight-week period.

Baskit How old are you Billy?

Billy I just turned 27 in July...

Baskit What do you do for a living (aside from modeling)? What did you want to be when you were a kid?

Billy Currently I am a singer/songwriter. (Check out Billy Dortch on iTunes or www.billydortch.com) and for money I manage and bartend at a popular bar in West Hollywood. As a child I wanted to own a farm with my brother and sister…. now the bar at times feels like a barn with farm animals.

Baskit You have some body art - can you give us a description of it and what it means to you?

Billy I have 10 tattoos. They all are special and have meaning to my life. I have my last name on my arm, a bird with a breast cancer ribbon for my mom (she is a survivor, love ya mom!) I also have the title to my first music single "breathe" on my neck. The music video for the song was actually nominated for video of the year on LOGO in 2009.

Baskit What's the best way to spend a day off? Extra hours at the gym? On the beach? Hiking?

Billy I love to hike. I try to go on a different hike each weekend! I also enjoy camping and am currently restoring an old camper trailer and it's almost ready to take to the road!

Baskit Were you familiar with Baskit before the model search and what drew you to it?

Billy Yes, I actually did a shoot a few months before and by chance I was wearing Baskit underwear. I entered a picture from that shoot to the competition.

Baskit Is there something thing you aren't doing that you wish you were? A sport/skill you were never good at or just haven’t gotten around to learning yet?

Billy I actually want to learn trapeze and run away with the circus!

Baskit What is the best advice anyone has ever given you?

Billy Not sure if it’s advice, but I have always had unconditional love form my family.

Baskit On a random Saturday, what are you likely to be wearing?

Billy Swim shorts in my blow up kiddy pool ala Homer Simpson.

Baskit If you had a week on a beach and could only take three things with you what would they be (aside from clothes and money?)

Billy My boyfriend, an iPod with speakers, and a bottle of wine.

Billy I love the P90x workout and I've never had a gym membership! Plus, as I write this, I am currently on a ship in the middle of a sixty-six day exploration of the Mediterranean Sea!

Clothing brand Baskit, best known for premium underwear, swimwear and activewear collections recently joined forces with social networking site Connexion.org to find the perfect ambassadors for its new image campaign that launched this month.

Over 200 Connexion members submitted pictures for consideration and members of the social networking site selected the two finalists through a series of eight rounds of voting, casting over 30,000 votes in an eight week period.

Hailing from the Nation’s Capital, meet Tim Baird, an all-American guy who proved he is more than just a pretty face and a super fit body. His killer smile and charming personality brought the heat to beach during a photo shoot that found him showcasing new styles from this year’s underwear offerings, dangling from cliffs over crashing waves, and braving the freezing water to show off an irresistible swimsuit.

We took a moment to ask the brand’s newest face some questions for a special look into his life and what he fills his baskit with….

Baskit: What’s your age and where you are from, Tim?

Tim I’m 27 and right now I live and work in DC. I grew up in Cohasset, Massachusetts, a small town just south of Boston.

Baskit What do you do for a living (aside from modeling)? What did you want to be when you were a kid?

Tim I work full-time for a healthcare non-profit, but as a little kid I always wanted to be a professional soccer player.

Baskit What's the best way to spend your day off? Extra hours at the gym? On the beach? Hiking?

Tim If I had a totally free day, which never happens, I’d sleep in, then with a little motivation I’d get to the gym and spend the rest of my afternoon by the pool or beach with some friends, music, food and drinks.

Baskit Were you familiar with Baskit before the model search and what drew you to it?

Tim Totally. I have a few pairs and modeled for a Baskit underwear show in DC. It’s sexy, great fitting underwear so entering the contest just made sense for me.

Baskit Is there something you aren't doing that you wish you were? A sport/skill you were never good at or just haven’t gotten around to learning yet?

Tim I really want to learn how to surf. I need to get my ass to a beach where I can practice!

Baskit What is the best advice you’ve ever been given?

Tim Never take anything too seriously, including yourself!

Baskit On a random Saturday, what are you wearing?

Tim Shorts, a tank or v-neck and flip-flops. I’ll probably have some kind of necklace on, aviators if I haven’t lost them and Baskit’s, of course.

Baskit If you had a week on a beach and could only take three things with you what would they be (aside from clothes and money?)

Tim Tough question. Definitely music, a volleyball and a surfboard so I can finally pickup surfing!

Tim I speak Spanish, bummed around South America for a year, and have cut my own hair since I was 17.

Dtox was packed to the walls, the crowd was loud and crazy and the atmosphere in the room was super-charged. And that was before the show even started!

The incredibly talented Sherry Vine took the stage at 11 pm, started the show with a song, and then the boys took the stage. And did they take the stage. Wow! It was a hot and sweaty frenzy of muscle

worship that was hot enough to make sailors blush and grannies drop their panties.

In the first Round, the boys stripped off their shirts, followed by a Round in which they appeared in Baskit Underwear, (and less), and then the ever so tough Question and Answer period. Memories of the disastrous Miss U.S.A. incident were fresh on everyone's mind, but luckily, our boys have a little bit more on the ball than Miss California. They answered the questions with ease and with sexy smiles lighting up the stage.

The Judges, Next Magazine's Brian Moylan; international male model Mark Johnson; HereTV's Josh Rosenzweig; and world famous entertainer Joey Arias, had some tough decisions to make, but in the end, they chose Matheus as the winner.

Look for Matheus, and the other boys, in upcoming editions of Next Magazine and in ads for Baskit Underwear, and of course, watch for our next live event coming to you soon!

We get absolute piles of mail every day. Enough to make our seemingly pleasant and probably sweet mail lady hate us with a passion. If you like reality TV and you're into the whole model-mania you've probably seen The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency show on Oxygen. Remember Shaun McCarron and Paul Anderson the gay couple who were breakout stars on the first season? Well, we ended up hanging out with Shaun and now he's set to become a regular baskiteer. We started the day in Central Park, at the Bethesda Fountain. Baskit owner Eric wanted a backdrop which would resemble a lake, or some sort of body of water; it made sense, we were shooting swimsuits after all. Little did we suspect that this was also the day of the Susan G. Koman "Race for the Cure" in Central Park, thus, thousands of pumped-up, estrogen-charged women were swarming the place, hormones ablaze.

As the models, Kris, Brandon and Bryan, stood behind the Bethesda Fountain, stripping naked to don the Baskit swimsuits, it was just a matter of minutes before women started to circle the shoot. At first I thought it would amount to innocent fun, but as the crowd of leering women grew larger, the shouts began, "Hey, baby, take it off!", and "Whew, I like what I see!" Here we were, five grown men, and I began to fear for our safety. I imagined this was what it must feel like to be a Chippendale's dancer in a sea of rowdy, drunken women who refuse to go home until they've fondled something male-related.

I would take a few pics, turn around to look at the crowd, take a few more pics, turn around, and each time I turned around, the crowd had grown larger and more vocal. I reminded myself that horny women, like dogs, can smell fear, so I tried to compose myself. The most embarrassing moment was when I noticed very young girls in the crowd. I thought, "Oh great, on top of making my models feel like cheap sluts, now I've exposed pre-pubescent girls to their first experience with porn." Sensing that this situation was headed down-hill fast, and with the appearance of the NYPD Blue probably eminent, we quickly wrapped up and headed out. As we scampered away, several women expressed their very real disappointment with our exit, but luckily, we made it out, our man-bits safely intact.

3. a. Street Walking

We were walking through the East Village, on our way to the next shoot location, when I decided we should shoot a street scene, with the models in the middle of the street. Kris, who's from Las Vegas, started to notice what makes New York what it is, i.e. the old ladies doing their shopping; the passed out, possibly dead, drunk on the sidewalk, (notice the leg sticking out from behind the black car); and lots and lots of traffic to be dodged, (if you want to live).

Bryan, who's from Philly, and a little more conditioned to NYC, went with it, and began to flirt with passers-by, pretending to hitch-hike. Kris wasn't as ready to interact with the living New Yorkers, but, to his credit, he did walk onto the sidewalk at one point to check on the dead guy.
